Annual Report Design in Villa Jaragua, Baoruco, Dominican Republic

Long documents depend on grid, typography and rhythm more than decoration. The same design principles apply in Villa Jaragua, Baoruco, Dominican Republic: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

How to frame the project

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A clearer starting point

Collecting final copy, dimensions and image assets early reduces avoidable revision later.

Budget follows the real workload

Extending an existing system and creating a new direction from zero are different types of work.

Keeping the workflow practical

The first concept is a way to make direction visible. It is better to confirm the overall approach before polishing small details.

Files, feedback and calls

Location is usually less important than communication rhythm and clear expectations.

Building something reusable

Reusable typography, spacing and component rules make future production faster.

Ongoing content can benefit from freelance graphic design support that builds repeatable rules rather than starting from zero every time.

Before starting
