Annual Report Design in Lola, Guinea

Good document design makes reading feel easier even when the reader cannot explain why. The same design principles apply in Lola, Guinea: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

A focused way to begin

Long documents depend on grid, typography and rhythm more than decoration.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

What should be defined before design?

Collecting final copy, dimensions and image assets early reduces avoidable revision later.

Mobile, web and multiple formats

Different aspect ratios often need a recomposed layout rather than a cropped version.

Keeping the workflow practical

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

Design beyond one deliverable

A design system creates value when it can support the next campaign or content update too.

What matters beyond the portfolio?

A portfolio shows visual capability, but communication and process determine how the project feels day to day.

When motion becomes part of the brand, motion graphics and editing can extend the same typography and graphic language into video.
