Annual Report Design in Sha Tin, Hong Kong S.A.R.

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system. The same design principles apply in Sha Tin, Hong Kong S.A.R.: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

A practical approach

A catalog becomes useful when products are easy to scan and compare.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Design beyond one deliverable

Reusable typography, spacing and component rules make future production faster.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

What changes on screen

The same brand can feel consistent across channels without using the same composition everywhere.

A calmer revision process

Delivery formats depend on where the work will live: print, web, social, presentation or video.

Communication is part of the service

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

Ongoing content can benefit from freelance graphic design support that builds repeatable rules rather than starting from zero every time.
