Art Direction in Birštonas, Lithuania

A clear system makes everyday design decisions faster and more consistent. For a art direction project connected to Birštonas, Lithuania, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

Design with a clear purpose

Brand management becomes valuable when many channels and people touch the same identity.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A compact brief is enough

References are most helpful when they explain what feels right about an example instead of asking for a copy.

Mobile, web and multiple formats

Different aspect ratios often need a recomposed layout rather than a cropped version.

From first direction to final files

Clear approval points keep the project from staying open-ended.

Design beyond one deliverable

A design system creates value when it can support the next campaign or content update too.

Working with a freelance designer

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
