Art Direction in Taranaki, New Zealand

Creative direction gives separate outputs a shared point of view. A project for Taranaki, New Zealand does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

Design with a clear purpose

A clear system makes everyday design decisions faster and more consistent.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A system that survives the next project

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

Start with the problem, not the style

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

Digital use changes the rules

File size and image optimization are part of digital design quality.

From first direction to final files

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

Working with a freelance designer

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

For product-led businesses, e-commerce management can connect product organization, campaign visuals and store content rather than treating them as separate tasks.
