Art Direction in Demir Kapija, North Macedonia

The strongest brand systems leave enough room for campaigns to change without losing recognition. For a art direction project connected to Demir Kapija, North Macedonia, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

A practical approach

A clear system makes everyday design decisions faster and more consistent.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Working with a freelance designer

A good working relationship combines design quality with predictable review and delivery.

A compact brief is enough

References are most helpful when they explain what feels right about an example instead of asking for a copy.

From first direction to final files

The first concept is a way to make direction visible. It is better to confirm the overall approach before polishing small details.

Budget follows the real workload

Extending an existing system and creating a new direction from zero are different types of work.

A system that survives the next project

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
