Art Direction in North Fly, Western, Papua New Guinea

Creative direction gives separate outputs a shared point of view. A project for North Fly, Western, Papua New Guinea does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

A focused way to begin

The strongest brand systems leave enough room for campaigns to change without losing recognition.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Communication is part of the service

A good working relationship combines design quality with predictable review and delivery.

Start with the problem, not the style

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

How the project can move forward

Clear approval points keep the project from staying open-ended.

More than a page count

Urgent delivery and many output formats can change the project more than the headline service name suggests.

A system that survives the next project

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
