Art Direction in Coimbra, Portugal

The strongest brand systems leave enough room for campaigns to change without losing recognition. A project for Coimbra, Portugal does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

A practical approach

Creative direction gives separate outputs a shared point of view.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

What changes on screen

The same brand can feel consistent across channels without using the same composition everywhere.

From first direction to final files

The first concept is a way to make direction visible. It is better to confirm the overall approach before polishing small details.

Keeping the brand connected

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

Communication is part of the service

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

If the brand is changing at the same time, corporate identity design and digital outputs are easier to align when they share one direction.
