Book & Cover Design in Palmar Arriba, Santiago, Dominican Republic

Good document design makes reading feel easier even when the reader cannot explain why. A project for Palmar Arriba, Santiago, Dominican Republic does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

A focused way to begin

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Choosing a working model

Cross-channel consistency is often more valuable than a single impressive mockup.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

How the project can move forward

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

What really shapes the scope?

Extending an existing system and creating a new direction from zero are different types of work.

A system that survives the next project

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

When motion becomes part of the brand, motion graphics and editing can extend the same typography and graphic language into video.
