Book & Cover Design in Machakos, Kenya

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system. The same design principles apply in Machakos, Kenya: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

A practical approach

Long documents depend on grid, typography and rhythm more than decoration.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Keeping the brand connected

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

Designing for real screens

Small screens expose weak hierarchy quickly. Text, controls and CTA placement need deliberate priority.

A calmer revision process

The first concept is a way to make direction visible. It is better to confirm the overall approach before polishing small details.

Communication is part of the service

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
