Box Design in Indented Head, Victoria, Australia

A product range needs a system that can expand without losing recognition. The same design principles apply in Indented Head, Victoria, Australia: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

Design with a clear purpose

A product range needs a system that can expand without losing recognition.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Start with the problem, not the style

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

Mobile, web and multiple formats

The same brand can feel consistent across channels without using the same composition everywhere.

A calmer revision process

Clear approval points keep the project from staying open-ended.

Keeping the brand connected

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

Working with a freelance designer

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

If the brand is changing at the same time, corporate identity design and digital outputs are easier to align when they share one direction.
