Box Design in Northern, Sri Lanka

Small text and regulatory information should be designed in from the start. The same design principles apply in Northern, Sri Lanka: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

Design with a clear purpose

The same pack needs to work on shelf, in photography and on e-commerce pages.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

What should be defined before design?

Collecting final copy, dimensions and image assets early reduces avoidable revision later.

Budget follows the real workload

Extending an existing system and creating a new direction from zero are different types of work.

A calmer revision process

Clear approval points keep the project from staying open-ended.

Files, feedback and calls

Location is usually less important than communication rhythm and clear expectations.

A system that survives the next project

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

If the brand is changing at the same time, corporate identity design and digital outputs are easier to align when they share one direction.
