Brand Identity Refresh in Villa Tapia, Hermanas Mirabal, Dominican Republic

A useful identity system needs to work at small scale, in one color and across digital and print. For a brand identity refresh project connected to Villa Tapia, Hermanas Mirabal, Dominican Republic, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

Design with a clear purpose

Identity is more than a logo file; it is the visual logic that keeps a brand recognizable.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Keeping the brand connected

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

Start with the problem, not the style

References are most helpful when they explain what feels right about an example instead of asking for a copy.

Digital use changes the rules

From first direction to final files

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

Communication is part of the service

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

Ongoing content can benefit from freelance graphic design support that builds repeatable rules rather than starting from zero every time.
