Brochure Design in Southern, Zambia

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system. For a brochure design project connected to Southern, Zambia, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

A focused way to begin

Long documents depend on grid, typography and rhythm more than decoration.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A compact brief is enough

References are most helpful when they explain what feels right about an example instead of asking for a copy.

How the project can move forward

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

Design beyond one deliverable

Reusable typography, spacing and component rules make future production faster.

What changes on screen

The same brand can feel consistent across channels without using the same composition everywhere.

Remote collaboration is normal

Screen sharing can resolve design direction quickly without long meetings.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
