Catalog Design in Coquimbo, Chile

Good document design makes reading feel easier even when the reader cannot explain why. For a catalog design project connected to Coquimbo, Chile, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

How to frame the project

Long documents depend on grid, typography and rhythm more than decoration.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A compact brief is enough

References are most helpful when they explain what feels right about an example instead of asking for a copy.

How the project can move forward

The first concept is a way to make direction visible. It is better to confirm the overall approach before polishing small details.

Keeping the brand connected

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

Designing for real screens

Small screens expose weak hierarchy quickly. Text, controls and CTA placement need deliberate priority.

Files, feedback and calls

Good file naming and centralized feedback matter more when teams work across locations.

If the brand is changing at the same time, corporate identity design and digital outputs are easier to align when they share one direction.
