Catalog Design in Haina, Thuringia, Germany

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system. A project for Haina, Thuringia, Germany does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

Design with a clear purpose

Long documents depend on grid, typography and rhythm more than decoration.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

What should be defined before design?

Collecting final copy, dimensions and image assets early reduces avoidable revision later.

From first direction to final files

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

Keeping the brand connected

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

Digital use changes the rules

File size and image optimization are part of digital design quality.

Files, feedback and calls

Location is usually less important than communication rhythm and clear expectations.

When motion becomes part of the brand, motion graphics and editing can extend the same typography and graphic language into video.
