Catalog Design in Al-Qādisiyyah, Iraq

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system. A project for Al-Qādisiyyah, Iraq does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

Design with a clear purpose

Long documents depend on grid, typography and rhythm more than decoration.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Design beyond one deliverable

Reusable typography, spacing and component rules make future production faster.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

What changes on screen

The same brand can feel consistent across channels without using the same composition everywhere.

From first direction to final files

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

Working with a freelance designer

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

If the brand is changing at the same time, corporate identity design and digital outputs are easier to align when they share one direction.
