Catalog Design in Phangnga, Thailand

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system. For a catalog design project connected to Phangnga, Thailand, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

How to frame the project

A catalog becomes useful when products are easy to scan and compare.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A compact brief is enough

References are most helpful when they explain what feels right about an example instead of asking for a copy.

How the project can move forward

Delivery formats depend on where the work will live: print, web, social, presentation or video.

Working with a freelance designer

A good working relationship combines design quality with predictable review and delivery.

Mobile, web and multiple formats

The same brand can feel consistent across channels without using the same composition everywhere.

A location-independent process

Good file naming and centralized feedback matter more when teams work across locations.

If the brand is changing at the same time, corporate identity design and digital outputs are easier to align when they share one direction.
