Corporate Web Design in Kamina, Haut-Lomami, Democratic Republic of the Congo

A website should be easy to grow after launch, not only look good on day one. For a corporate web design project connected to Kamina, Haut-Lomami, Democratic Republic of the Congo, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

How to frame the project

Navigation language should make sense to visitors, not only to the internal team.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Building something reusable

A design system creates value when it can support the next campaign or content update too.

A compact brief is enough

References are most helpful when they explain what feels right about an example instead of asking for a copy.

Mobile, web and multiple formats

The same brand can feel consistent across channels without using the same composition everywhere.

How the project can move forward

Delivery formats depend on where the work will live: print, web, social, presentation or video.

Choosing a working model

A portfolio shows visual capability, but communication and process determine how the project feels day to day.
