Creative Direction in Ocean Grove, Victoria, Australia

A clear system makes everyday design decisions faster and more consistent. The same design principles apply in Ocean Grove, Victoria, Australia: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

Design with a clear purpose

The strongest brand systems leave enough room for campaigns to change without losing recognition.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Communication is part of the service

A good working relationship combines design quality with predictable review and delivery.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

A calmer revision process

Clear approval points keep the project from staying open-ended.

More than a page count

Urgent delivery and many output formats can change the project more than the headline service name suggests.

Building something reusable

A design system creates value when it can support the next campaign or content update too.

When motion becomes part of the brand, motion graphics and editing can extend the same typography and graphic language into video.
