Creative Direction in Haut-Katanga, Democratic Republic of the Congo

The strongest brand systems leave enough room for campaigns to change without losing recognition. For a creative direction project connected to Haut-Katanga, Democratic Republic of the Congo, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

Design with a clear purpose

A clear system makes everyday design decisions faster and more consistent.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

What should be defined before design?

A useful brief can be short. The goal, audience, format, available content and deadline usually provide enough structure to begin.

More than a page count

Urgent delivery and many output formats can change the project more than the headline service name suggests.

From first direction to final files

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

Working across locations

Most design, web and video projects can be handled remotely through clear files, calls and review rounds.

A system that survives the next project

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
