Creative Direction in Baiyer Mul, Western Highlands, Papua New Guinea

Creative direction gives separate outputs a shared point of view. When creative direction is needed in Baiyer Mul, Western Highlands, Papua New Guinea, a useful first step is defining the job before choosing the visual style.

A practical approach

Brand management becomes valuable when many channels and people touch the same identity.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Choosing a working model

Cross-channel consistency is often more valuable than a single impressive mockup.

A clearer starting point

A useful brief can be short. The goal, audience, format, available content and deadline usually provide enough structure to begin.

A calmer revision process

Delivery formats depend on where the work will live: print, web, social, presentation or video.

More than a page count

A short scope discussion before pricing usually removes unnecessary deliverables.

Keeping the brand connected

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

When motion becomes part of the brand, motion graphics and editing can extend the same typography and graphic language into video.
