Editorial Design in Villarpando, Azua, Dominican Republic

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system. For a editorial design project connected to Villarpando, Azua, Dominican Republic, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

A practical approach

Good document design makes reading feel easier even when the reader cannot explain why.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Choosing a working model

Cross-channel consistency is often more valuable than a single impressive mockup.

A compact brief is enough

References are most helpful when they explain what feels right about an example instead of asking for a copy.

From first direction to final files

Delivery formats depend on where the work will live: print, web, social, presentation or video.

Defining the right amount of work

A short scope discussion before pricing usually removes unnecessary deliverables.

A system that survives the next project

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
