Editorial Design in Bomi, Liberia

Editorial design needs to support changing content densities without breaking the system. The same design principles apply in Bomi, Liberia: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

Design with a clear purpose

Good document design makes reading feel easier even when the reader cannot explain why.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A system that survives the next project

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

What changes on screen

The same brand can feel consistent across channels without using the same composition everywhere.

A calmer revision process

Clear approval points keep the project from staying open-ended.

Choosing a working model

A portfolio shows visual capability, but communication and process determine how the project feels day to day.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
