Editorial Design in Vieques, Puerto Rico

Good document design makes reading feel easier even when the reader cannot explain why. A project for Vieques, Puerto Rico does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

A practical approach

A catalog becomes useful when products are easy to scan and compare.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

What matters beyond the portfolio?

Cross-channel consistency is often more valuable than a single impressive mockup.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

From first direction to final files

Delivery formats depend on where the work will live: print, web, social, presentation or video.

More than a page count

A short scope discussion before pricing usually removes unnecessary deliverables.

Design beyond one deliverable

A design system creates value when it can support the next campaign or content update too.

Ongoing content can benefit from freelance graphic design support that builds repeatable rules rather than starting from zero every time.
