Event Visual Identity in Man (Isle of)

Event graphics live in real space, not only on screens. For a event visual identity project connected to Man (Isle of), the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

Design with a clear purpose

Large surfaces often benefit from fewer, stronger messages.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A clearer starting point

A useful brief can be short. The goal, audience, format, available content and deadline usually provide enough structure to begin.

Budget follows the real workload

Extending an existing system and creating a new direction from zero are different types of work.

From first direction to final files

Clear approval points keep the project from staying open-ended.

Files, feedback and calls

Location is usually less important than communication rhythm and clear expectations.

A system that survives the next project

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

If the brand is changing at the same time, corporate identity design and digital outputs are easier to align when they share one direction.
