Label Design in Scattered Islands, French Southern Territories

The same pack needs to work on shelf, in photography and on e-commerce pages. The same design principles apply in Scattered Islands, French Southern Territories: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

How to frame the project

The same pack needs to work on shelf, in photography and on e-commerce pages.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Building something reusable

Reusable typography, spacing and component rules make future production faster.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

Digital use changes the rules

File size and image optimization are part of digital design quality.

Keeping the workflow practical

Delivery formats depend on where the work will live: print, web, social, presentation or video.

Communication is part of the service

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

For product-led businesses, e-commerce management can connect product organization, campaign visuals and store content rather than treating them as separate tasks.

A few practical answers
