Packaging Design in Samburu, Kenya

Small text and regulatory information should be designed in from the start. The same design principles apply in Samburu, Kenya: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

How to frame the project

Small text and regulatory information should be designed in from the start.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

Digital use changes the rules

File size and image optimization are part of digital design quality.

Keeping the workflow practical

The first concept is a way to make direction visible. It is better to confirm the overall approach before polishing small details.

Building something reusable

Reusable typography, spacing and component rules make future production faster.

Communication is part of the service

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

When motion becomes part of the brand, motion graphics and editing can extend the same typography and graphic language into video.
