Rebranding in Mayfield East 2304, New South Wales, Australia

A useful identity system needs to work at small scale, in one color and across digital and print. The same design principles apply in Mayfield East 2304, New South Wales, Australia: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

Design with a clear purpose

Rebranding is often about editing and clarifying rather than replacing everything.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A clearer starting point

Collecting final copy, dimensions and image assets early reduces avoidable revision later.

A calmer revision process

Clear approval points keep the project from staying open-ended.

A system that survives the next project

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

Digital use changes the rules

Small screens expose weak hierarchy quickly. Text, controls and CTA placement need deliberate priority.

A location-independent process

Location is usually less important than communication rhythm and clear expectations.

When motion becomes part of the brand, motion graphics and editing can extend the same typography and graphic language into video.
