Rebranding in Ganja, Azerbaijan

A useful identity system needs to work at small scale, in one color and across digital and print. A project for Ganja, Azerbaijan does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

Design with a clear purpose

Rebranding is often about editing and clarifying rather than replacing everything.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A clearer starting point

Collecting final copy, dimensions and image assets early reduces avoidable revision later.

More than a page count

Urgent delivery and many output formats can change the project more than the headline service name suggests.

From first direction to final files

Clear approval points keep the project from staying open-ended.

A location-independent process

Location is usually less important than communication rhythm and clear expectations.

Building something reusable

A design system creates value when it can support the next campaign or content update too.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
