Rebranding in Budaka, Uganda

Rebranding is often about editing and clarifying rather than replacing everything. A project for Budaka, Uganda does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

A practical approach

Rebranding is often about editing and clarifying rather than replacing everything.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Working with a freelance designer

A good working relationship combines design quality with predictable review and delivery.

What should be defined before design?

Collecting final copy, dimensions and image assets early reduces avoidable revision later.

From first direction to final files

Delivery formats depend on where the work will live: print, web, social, presentation or video.

Defining the right amount of work

A short scope discussion before pricing usually removes unnecessary deliverables.

A system that survives the next project

Documenting recurring decisions reduces visual drift when more people work on the brand.

When motion becomes part of the brand, motion graphics and editing can extend the same typography and graphic language into video.
