Retail POSM Design in Bam, Burkina Faso

Viewing distance should influence type size and image scale. A project for Bam, Burkina Faso does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

A practical approach

Retail graphics are read while people move, so speed of recognition matters.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

What matters beyond the portfolio?

Cross-channel consistency is often more valuable than a single impressive mockup.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

From first direction to final files

The first concept is a way to make direction visible. It is better to confirm the overall approach before polishing small details.

More than a page count

Urgent delivery and many output formats can change the project more than the headline service name suggests.

Design beyond one deliverable

A design system creates value when it can support the next campaign or content update too.

If the brand is changing at the same time, corporate identity design and digital outputs are easier to align when they share one direction.
