Retail POSM Design in Colonia, Uruguay

Retail graphics are read while people move, so speed of recognition matters. For a retail posm design project connected to Colonia, Uruguay, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

Design with a clear purpose

Viewing distance should influence type size and image scale.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Start with the problem, not the style

References are most helpful when they explain what feels right about an example instead of asking for a copy.

Mobile, web and multiple formats

Different aspect ratios often need a recomposed layout rather than a cropped version.

From first direction to final files

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

Building something reusable

A design system creates value when it can support the next campaign or content update too.

Communication is part of the service

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

If the brand is changing at the same time, corporate identity design and digital outputs are easier to align when they share one direction.
