Video Editing in Kieta, Bougainville, Papua New Guinea

Editing is as much about what gets removed as what gets included. The same design principles apply in Kieta, Bougainville, Papua New Guinea: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

Design with a clear purpose

Captions, rhythm and music should support the same message.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

Working with a freelance designer

A good working relationship combines design quality with predictable review and delivery.

A clearer starting point

Collecting final copy, dimensions and image assets early reduces avoidable revision later.

A calmer revision process

Consolidated feedback makes revision easier to understand and prevents conflicting changes.

What really shapes the scope?

Extending an existing system and creating a new direction from zero are different types of work.

Building something reusable

A design system creates value when it can support the next campaign or content update too.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
