Visual Identity Design in Taroona, Tasmania, Australia

A useful identity system needs to work at small scale, in one color and across digital and print. For a visual identity design project connected to Taroona, Tasmania, Australia, the location is context; the actual design decisions come from the audience, content, brand and channel.

A practical approach

Rebranding is often about editing and clarifying rather than replacing everything.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A clearer starting point

A useful brief can be short. The goal, audience, format, available content and deadline usually provide enough structure to begin.

Mobile, web and multiple formats

The same brand can feel consistent across channels without using the same composition everywhere.

From first direction to final files

Delivery formats depend on where the work will live: print, web, social, presentation or video.

A system that survives the next project

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

What matters beyond the portfolio?

A portfolio shows visual capability, but communication and process determine how the project feels day to day.

If the brand is changing at the same time, corporate identity design and digital outputs are easier to align when they share one direction.
