Visual Identity Design in Indented Head, Victoria, Australia

A useful identity system needs to work at small scale, in one color and across digital and print. A project for Indented Head, Victoria, Australia does not need artificial local claims. A clearer approach is to focus on the real communication problem and how the work will be used.

How to frame the project

Brand consistency does not mean every layout looks identical; it means every layout feels related.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A system that survives the next project

Consistency is a shared character, not identical layouts.

A clearer starting point

Collecting final copy, dimensions and image assets early reduces avoidable revision later.

Mobile, web and multiple formats

The same brand can feel consistent across channels without using the same composition everywhere.

How the project can move forward

The first concept is a way to make direction visible. It is better to confirm the overall approach before polishing small details.

Working with a freelance designer

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
