Web Design in Saint Pierre and Miquelon

Navigation language should make sense to visitors, not only to the internal team. The same design principles apply in Saint Pierre and Miquelon: reduce uncertainty in the brief, establish priorities and build only what the project actually needs.

How to frame the project

A website should be easy to grow after launch, not only look good on day one.

If the scope crosses disciplines, graphic design, web design, e-commerce design and video editing can be considered as connected parts of one communication system.

A compact brief is enough

Separating must-have requirements from optional ideas keeps the project focused.

Mobile, web and multiple formats

Different aspect ratios often need a recomposed layout rather than a cropped version.

Keeping the workflow practical

The first concept is a way to make direction visible. It is better to confirm the overall approach before polishing small details.

Building something reusable

A design system creates value when it can support the next campaign or content update too.

Working with a freelance designer

Direct access to the person doing the work can reduce interpretation layers in a freelance setup.

A website often becomes the place where identity, content and conversion meet, so web design works best when it is considered alongside the wider brand system.
